Writing. Why does it matter? We're just trying to sell product.

Well, writing is the foundation of literally everything we do. Your argument might be that video is king across digital platforms. You're not wrong necessarily in that, but what about the caption that you pair with the video?

That's right. Writing is central to all marketing.

In marketing we must create content and in all content we have written word.

So... you're in business and you're not a great writer? What now?

Well, Ann Handley has a FANTASTIC book titled "Everybody Writes" that is a must-have resource.

While I had background in writing before transitioning to marketing, I read the book—a few times—and believe everyone should either pick up a copy or purchase the audiobook. (Or be like me and get the audiobook and a hard copy!)
